Boyd Holbrook Will Star in Juan Cabral’s Latest Film ‘Two/One’

Logan and Narcos star, model turned smoldering hot actor Boyd Holbrook is more than a pretty face. As someone who’s become a fan recently, his character range is pretty impressive. From a broken coal miner in Little Accidents to a violent coke addict in Run All Night, Holbrook will be in the latest Predator movie as Quinn McKenna. On top of this anticipated film, Holbrook has just been nabbed for director Juan Cabral’s Two/One.

Thriller ‘Sweet Virginia’ Picked up by IFC

Sweet Virginia was just one of two Jon Bernthal films to premiere at the Tribeca Film festival. Unlike Pilgrimage, Bernthal’s suspense thriller had not yet been picked up by a major film studio. Which, was terrible news considering those who went to the film festival gave the movie rave reviews. Who doesn’t want to see more Jon Bernthal on their screens?

iZombie Renewed for a Fourth Season!

Huzzah! It had been hard being an iZombie fan. Not only did we have to wait a year for the third season, but renewal for a fourth season took longer than some shows such as The Flash and The Arrow. But, today, CW announced that along with The Originals, iZombie would be returning for another season.

No Tomorrow was a CW show that took iZombie’s time slot for most of the year and was the reason we fans had to wait so long. Not to sound any kind of way, but No Tomorrow was canceled and the network executives seem to have come to their senses and renewed iZombie.

This means we’ll be getting more brain eating antics for at least another season. Make sure you tune into CW every Tuesday at 9pm to watch the current season!

‘Pilgrimage’ Trailer Review

The Walking Dead and The Punisher star Jon Bernthal is known for playing badass characters. From Shane Walsh, to Frank Castle and his roles in other films such as Fury and The Accountant, Bernthal usually is the guy with the less than reputable morals. Yesterday, the trailer for his latest project Pilgrimage dropped and Bernthal has gone Medieval.

THAT Punisher Poster was Fan-Made, but Still Awesome

If you’ve been on Twitter or Instagram recently, you’ve probably seen a Punisher poster that was so bad-ass it had to be real. The Punisher costars Ben Barnes and Deborah Ann Woll even promoted the bullet-riddled poster, which led many to speculate it was legitimate.

As awesome as that poster is, it’s in fact, fan-made. Giuseppe Spinelli is a digital artist from Italy and is the genius behind this awesome gift. Regardless if it’s real or not, it’s more than appropriate for Frank Castle and definitely hyped up the fan-base. We aren’t sure when The Punisher will exactly be released on Netflix, but at least we know it’s going to premiere in 2017.

In case you haven’t seen it, here’s that awesome poster I keep talking about. Make sure to check out Giuseppe Spinelli’s Twitter page. Hopefully, Marvel/The Punisher sees because it’s definitely the perfect artwork for the show.

iZombie: The Zombie Show You Should Be Watching

In two days, the third season of CW’s iZombie will premiere. If you haven’t heard about it, I would highly suggest binge-watching the first two seasons on Netflix immediately. For diehard iZombie fans, such as myself; it has been a long and agonizing wait. Season 2’s finale aired on April 12, 2016 and in an act of cruelty, we fans were made to wait a year for the next season.

Do not let this deter you from watching iZombie. If the name of the show doesn’t leave much to be desired, it’s okay. The first season of iZombie came and went without me giving it any thought. It was only into the second season that I caught up on Netflix and was instantly hooked. A fun, adventurous crime drama revolving around an undead zombie is not all this show has to offer. Liv Moore is the heroine that we all need and the supporting characters are just as important to the story.

For most of the two seasons, iZombie has had a “brain of the week” format. Due to her need for brains, the main character Liv works in a morgue with her boss Ravi. And not only does eating a victim’s brain help curb her appetite, it also helps local detective Clive Babineaux catch the killer. Liv also has a best friend in Peyton and her on again off again fiance Major Lilywhite (yep, that’s his name). On top of that, iZombie has possibly one of the best frenemy relationship between Liv and the zombie who turned her, Blaine.

Not to spoil too much, the third season will throw in a new dynamic to iZombie. Not only does everyone in Liv’s inner circle know her zombie secret, but there’s apparently an overwhelming amount of zombies in Seattle. And they have every intention of making the whole world know they exist. On top of her personal relationships and solving crimes, Liv will have to decide whose side she wants to be on: humans or zombies.

iZombie Season 3 airs April 4 – this Tuesday on CW at 9 pm. I promise you, it’s a good time.

iZombie stars Rose McIver as Liv Moore, Rahul Kohli as Dr. Ravi Chakrabarti, Malcolm Goodwin as Clive Babineaux, David Anders as Blaine Debeers, Robert Buckley as Major Lilywhite, Aly Michalka as Peyton Charles, and is directed by Rob Thomas (known for Veronica Mars).

Fan Made Trailer for The Gambit Movie

In case you have forgotten, we are supposed to get a Gambit movie starring Channing Tatum. This film has been started and stopped for a while now. We even thought perhaps Tatum would have been replaced along the way, but according to an LRM with producer Simon Kinberg, Kinberg had this to say:

Yeah, it is going to happen, and it’s just a question… Channing is, in the best possible way, as committed and as rigorous about getting the character right as Ryan was with Deadpool and as Hugh was with Logan on this movie, and so it’s been about finding a filmmaker and someone who can capture that voice and hand it off to Channing. But he’s been a really critical part of the process, and we’re hoping that the movie, probably given his schedule, will be ready to go this year and probably shoot next year.

In the meantime, you can check out Movie Craft’s Gambit fan made trailer. Fan made trailers sometimes give us a glimpse to a better movie than we get and although X-Men Origins: Wolverine was a so-so movie, people really liked Taylor Kitch’s rendition. So, please enjoy the following fan-made trailer and let know what you think of it.

And just because I’m curious, if you could recast Gambit, who would you want to see play him?
